Rumors about Motorola coming out with a new camera phone started circulating a couple of weeks ago. What made that rumor special was the fact that the camera phone that was mentioned, which was called the ZN5 back then, will have a KODAK’s imaging technology for its camera. But of course, like all mobile rumors, we wouldn’t report about it, until it gets officially announced by the manufacturers. Fortunately, it didn’t take Motorola that long to announce its new camera phone - the MOTOZINE ZN5. And just like the rumor said, the MOTOZINE ZN5 is indeed equipped with a Kodak camera, a 5-megapixel Kodak CCD. With combining KODAK imaging technology and Motorola ModeShift technology, the ZINE ZN5 has become one sleek, immersive mobile device. The ZINE ZN5’s Kodak camera is also equipped with auto-focus function and a Xenon flash and some nifty optimized settings for using the camera in a low-light environment. And since we are talking here about a Kodak camera, it goes without saying that the ZINE ZN5 would have a tie-up with Kodak’s popular online photo gallery, Kodak’s EasyShare software for managing photos on a PC,as well as Bluetooth connectivity to Kodak’s all-in-one printers and Kodak kiosks. The ZINE ZN5’s mobile features is not be neglected as well. The ZN5 features Motorola’s patented CrystalTalk technology to help callers hear and be heard, even in noisy environments. With dual compatibility for GSM and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), users can connect in more areas around the world and enjoy high-speed wireless connections to surf the Web via a full HTML browser.
